It’s not every day you’re given the keys to the former luggage store of Jersey’s most iconic hotel and asked to turn it into a cocktail bar. But after a swift decline in corporate bookings due to the pandemic, that’s exactly what happened to A|NY. The Seymour Group wanted to make more of the under-utilised basement bar which had been successfully set up as a temporary operation during the Christmas period of 2020. The group decided to make this into a permanent feature of their flagship hotel, focused on unique experiences through cocktails, quality and comfort.

From this understated street-level entrance, visitors are led through an unassuming corridor, dimly lit and disorientating with touches of brass, leading to an arched portal that crosses the threshold into a curtain-lined ante chamber providing theatre before the grand finale
