A—NY is an independent studio built around close collaboration and direct involvement. We bring architecture, interiors, research and creative strategy into the same conversation, working openly with clients, makers and specialists from the outset.
Joshua Noad
Director
Josh co-founded A—NY in 2019, shaping the studio around a belief in thoughtful, rigorous design and the value of working across disciplines. His work spans architecture, interiors and creative strategy, with an approach grounded in strong ideas, careful judgement and a clear understanding of how projects come together.

Before establishing A—NY, Josh worked across the UK, North Africa and Asia on hospitality, retail, residential and large-scale mixed-use projects, building experience across both design and delivery. That background continues to inform a hands-on, resourceful approach to the work, combining ambitious thinking with a strong instinct for how things are made, detailed and delivered.
Hayley Yu
Director
Hayley is a qualified architect, interior designer and co-founder of A—NY. Her work is grounded in a belief that interiors should be both beautifully resolved and deeply attuned to the people who use them.

She has a particular strength in high-end interiors, bringing together proportion, materiality, furniture and detail as part of a single composition. Before establishing A—NY, Hayley worked internationally, including with Woods Bagot, building experience across residential, workplace and retail projects in the UK and Asia.

Her approach combines a refined design eye with a strong understanding of function, wellbeing and how spaces are experienced in everyday life.
